Let’s Talk Transport
Come and meet the team behind Smarter Cambridge Transport on Wednesday 9 January 2019 at the Grain & Hop Store pub in Cambridge. You should find us upstairs at the end furthest from the stairs. Bring questions, ideas or offers to volunteer! Drop in at any time between 7:30pm and 10pm or, if you want to attend the AGM, between 6:30pm and 7pm.
The AGM (7–7:30pm) will cover:
- Election of officers
- Passing the accounts
- Setting out plans for the future.
The Grain & Hop Store fronts onto Parker’s Piece, with the main door on Regent Terrace, but you can also enter from Regent Street via the alleyway by City Kebab.
Cycle: There are a few cycle racks on Regent St, or you can attach your bike to the (not-so-secure) fence alongside Parker’s Piece.
Bus: The bus stop on Regent St is very close, and many buses stop there, including the Citi 1, 3, 7 and 13. We recommend UK Bus Checker (iOS and Android apps) for planning your journey.
Train: It’s a 10–15 minute walk from Cambridge station, up Station Rd and Hills Rd. Or you can catch the Citi 1, 3 or 7. Turn left out of the station and cross the road (Station Place) to reach the bus stops.
Car: The nearest car park is Queen Anne Terrace.
No need to book – just come along and meet the team.
